Maintenance of the patient should be done according to  the degree of dehydration.Treatment should be designed accordint to this dehydration.
Step 2: prevention of dehydration (if there is no sogn of dehydration)
Give ORS
Sufficiently  fluids should be taken in addition to normal daily fluid requirements.
Breast-fed babies should be given breast milk after every 3 hours.
Bottle-fed children should be given milk formula normally taken diluted with an alike volume of water.
Total of ORS to be given after each wobbly seat at home

ORS is given as follows:
Predictable total of ORS solution to be fixed in the correct time first 4 hours
